Salam and Hi ..how are you today?lama rasanya sudah inda update :D because of the lack of updates ,today I'm going to upload more photos than usual :))

On 5.3.2011 ,Daisy kindled 9 babies ,which made her the first doe to give birth to more than 8 kits this year ,tahun arnab tah banar~ :D

All the kit were in healthy condition :)

They are 6 days old today ..1,2,3,4,5 and 6?where did the other 3 go to?I'll tell you later :P

On the same day ,Jessica ,also a daughter to Daisy ,delivered only to 1 large kit ..What a lucky day ,mother and daughter kindled at the same time :D

So I put 3 of Daisy kits (3 kits yang hilang di atas) to be fostered by their own sister ,Jessica ..I bet you can tell yourself which are Daisy's :)

Also 6 days old today ,Jessica's is at the middle ..

2 days before ,that is on 3.3.2011 ,Yuri gave birth to 3 kits ,this time she plucked most of her fur ,picture was taken before she did her plucking thing :D

~Zaza's First Litter~

Salam and Hi ..Another 6 kits were born on 10.2.2011 by Zaza ,a single mane lionhead and she just turned 5 months old when her kits were just 1 day old :D

Actually I didn't expect this doe to be pregnant by Kimba because the day I bred her ,she flushed out the semen which was supposed to be retained in the uterus ,so I guessed she was not successfully bred ..2 weeks later ,I brought her to a friend of mine to inject the ivermectin due to her skin diseases ..She was found out to be having 'something' inside her on the 3rd week when I tried to breed her and she rejected the male along with her grunting ,so I decided to palpate her just in case ,and I surprisingly ,I could feel babies ..From what I knew ,a pregnant doe is not supposed to get an ivermectin jab because it might be dangerous for the foetus so I'll just wait until the 32nd day when Zaza gave birth to 6 healthy and huge kits ,whis was a surprise to me as I was expecting all the babies or perhaps some of them to not survive ..Thanks God!!

She is still young to be a dam but she is doing great at it,well done!! :)

These are Jill's kits when they're about 6 days old ..

One of them ,the runt ,didn't survive due to its small body maybe ..I did try to hold it and helping it to suckle Jill's tits but it reacted as if its dam tits are bigger than its mouth ..Then I realised that it will not be able to survive ..So I put Yoona's kit ,far left ,together with Jill's because the latter really know how to take care of the kits ..Apparently ,I rebred Yoona a week after her birth ..

This is the runt that I just mentioned ,the only one with different colour pattern ..It died peacefully on my palm ..Picture was taken few minutes after its death ..

This is Yoona's which is now in Jill's care :)

Bought this formula milk last month I think ,never use it before :D

~Gong Xi Fa Cai Babies~

Salam and Hi ..Gong Xi Fa Cai to all chinese out there ,though I might be 2 days late :D ,these two days we received another 8 babies from two of our does :)
Yoona is one of them as you can see she is busy gathering straw to make them as her nest the same day as CNY was celebrated ..

1 day later ,4.2.2011 ,which was the 33rd day ,she gave birth to only 2 babies which made me quite surprise ,unfortunately only 1 kit survived as the other 1 was a stillborn ..

This is the lucky one ..

Close up ..As you can see ,it got the V-shaped fur which indicates that it will going to be beautiful (hoping that it is a girl) :)

And this is the unfortunate one :(

This doe ,Jill has been working out on her nest since her 27th day of pregnancy ..

Today ,5.2.2011 ,at around 6.00pm-6.30pm ,she kindled 6 babies ..

They were born on the 31st day ..

As Yoona is just having 1 baby ,I transferred 2 babies from Jill to Yoona's nestbox so that they can keep their body warm together ,so this is Jill's nestbox ..

And this is Yoona's ,I bet you can guess which one is Yoona's kit as it may look a bit different from the other two:)

Salam and Hi ,I just want to share that today ,26.1.2011 ,we've lost a doe ,Sunny due to unknown cause :'( lets flashback a bit ..

This is when she was just 1 month old ++ ..She was born on February 2009 ,26.3.2009 was the date I bought her and now she is gone forever :'(

And this is when she was about 4 months old ..

Fully growned up ,she was the biggest rabbit here in our place and has been producing 28 babies throughout her life ..

Salam and Hi ..How are you guys today?anyway ,I've got some stories to share ..Daisy gave birth to 2 stillborns today ,19.1.2011 :(

The placenta has not been eaten yet ..

When I picked up Daisy ,this is what I found underneath her belly ..

She already pulled out so many fur ,unfortunately ,the kits didn't survive ..

She has been plucking fur since the 28th day of her pregnancy ..

BTW ,I put these cages indoor due to heavy rainfall ..

Daisy was included as I afraid that the weather could be not safe for her to deliver her kits but still they couldn't make it ..You can see Simba and Leo over there ..

Leo is still staying indoor and I let him out of his cage although he peed everywhere :s hahahah ..And also he is now officially a Lionlop :p

~Another Poor Kit~

Salam and Hi ..Students just started going to school yesterday here in Brunei while I'm stil enjoying my holiday :D But I have another stories to be shared this afternoon :(

Just found out this morning that this baby died ,the only baby left here and I have no idea what was the cause because it looked healthy last night ..It died when he's just a week old ..

See its tummy ,its bulging out which shows that it was being fed well by its mother and also I didn't find any injuries or blood :(

Pity you Jill ,although you're a first time mother but you're doing great ..Last night I also saw that Jill plucked more of her fur for the kit but now it was useless :(

Another story is that Jessica pulled her fur for the 2nd time since about 3 weeks ago ..Is she pregnant or what?I could feel something inside her tummy but she had passed her due date and today is the 40th day ..

Can you tell me whether you're pregnant or not Jessica?

The same thing happened to Jessica ,also happened to Yoona ,exactly the same but is is only that Yoona didn't pluck her fur ..Last 2 days ,I mated both of them and they didn't refuse the male ..

Meet Jackie ,an angora male and a litter from Ryo and Grey ..

I decided to sell him because I just want to concentrate on Lionhead and Lionhead Angora so maybe I'll just keep pair of angora bunnies here :)

Happy New Year 2011 to all people out there :D

I got a bad news and a good news to share ..

I found out yesterday morning that one of the two baby bunnies left was found dead outside the nestbox and I suspected its the rat who killed it ..The head was not there though :( I feel so sorry for this pinky ..So pathetic :'(

You can also see something like teeth or bones there separated from its body ..

I know it looks gross :( and its the first case ever happened here :'(

Now only one baby rabbit left here so I decided to transfer it along with its dam to the other hutch which I think might be safe for them and I feel so regret about the death :(

So now its for the good news ..

I also bought a female lionhead bunny yesterday ..

Her former owner called her Zaza so I've decided to keep that name :) She was born on 11.9.2010 at Fauziman's place ..I bought her because I need another female lionhead bunny and also I'm very sorry to see her condition ATM ..

She is having mites problem and some tangled fur ..This is the picture after I've done the things i need to do ..

So I gave the spray which I've showed you from the 2nd last post and trimmed the fur and this is how she looks like in her new home :)

Salam and Hi ..I know we're going to leave 2o1o in just a few days so I've decided to upload more photos than usual :D

These two kits are Jill's which were born yesterday ,28.12.2010 ..Actually ,3 babies were born but as I checked them this morning ,the other one was disappeared ..I couldn't find it anywhere nearby the place so I suspected that it may be eaten by the mother or perhaps rats because I've seen an brown rat stealing rabbit's pellets without realising that it was being observed by me :D So ,this afternoon ,I put some kind of rat glue with some treats on the top of the hutch where I usually found their stools being left ..Hope to see at least one rat got stucked onto it :D

10 days before giving birth ..

And this is Tiffany ..

First attempt to mate her was failed and I hope the second will be successful ..

Used to live together but now I have to separate them over due to Jill's condition ..

I was also expecting babies from Yoona because I mated her the same day as I mated Jill but until now ,day 33 of pregnancy ,still no signs of giving birth and plucking fur ..I did palpated her but I am still not sure ..

Hope to see any changes tomorrow :) ..

I'm not sure which does plucked this fur since about 2 weeks ago because two does share the same place ..

Another 20 days to wait for and we'll see whether she's pregnant or the other way round ..

I've got a very bad news to share ..This lovely bunny ,one of Yuri's kits ,died two days ago due to diarrhea :(

It was actually his brother ( picture ) which was having diarrhea days before he got it ..

When I realised that this baby bunny had a diarrhea ,I immediately put him indoor and clean his bottom ..I gave him the vitamin that prevents diarrhea and the next day ,his poops were getting better ..The night he was having this sickness ,I transferred the other babies including his brother to another place and I also gave them the vitamin ..Two days later ,which is also two days ago ,I saw that poor baby bunny died and I realised that his bottom was dirty and I knew he just got a diarrhea :( I just couldn't believe that the one that I think which is going to move on with his life is the one which is going to die and vice versa :(

~Yoona Is Now Fully Recovered~

Salam and Hi ..Here are some of Yoona's pictures from the beginning of her sickness until she is fully recovered :)

The 'crusts' (should I call that as crusts??:D) began to decrease and fell off ..

Day by day ,her ears were getting better ..

Another improvement for the next several days ..

Nose was in process of growing fur ..

Forgot to tell you that by the time she was getting this sickness ,she was having her babies ,7 kits ,and because of her condition that made her to not feeding her kits ,we were taking over her responsibilities by feeding them manually and indeed .all the kits survived :)

And this is how she looks now :)

ANDDDDDD this is the secret :D it is really effective and you guys should try this for your pets that is having skin diseases ,make sure to spray it to the affected areas daily ..Unfortunately ,we cannot find this available in any of petshops in Brunei ..I myself bought this from Miri for RM35 if I'm not mistaken :P

Salam and Hi ..Sorry for the lack of update because nowadays I'm more into facebook rather than updating blog :D So ,here are some of good news to us :)

We bought a couple of adorable lionhead bunnies last Thursday ..

Their condition were not so well ,I guessed ,just by looking at their bottom which were both having poops sticked onto it ..So ,maybe that's the reason why these two cuties were sold at a low price :D I also forgot to ask about their age ,but I think they're about 1 month++ ..For the time being ,they're staying with Yuri's kits :)

Just want to share that this doe has changed her lovely behaviour into an aggresive bunny ,always grunting and trying to bite me whenever I try to touch her , I just don't know what causes her to react like that ,maybe because she is living with another female bunny??BTW ,last week ,I mated 6 of our does ,4 of them which will be a first time mother ,let see if they're really pregnant or the other way round :)

Salam and Hi ..It has been a while since I didn't update this blog,well there were no stories to be shared for the last 3 weeks but yesterday,28.10.2010,two of our does ( Yuri and Soo Young ) kindled newborn kits ..

Their dam is Yuri while Rocky is their sire ..Actually,8 babies were born altogether but the other 4 died due to those nasty red ants huhuhuhuh ..

Salam and Hi ..I have a very bad news to share ..On 3.10.1010,during night time,our first male rabbit,Browny,was being chased by a group of dogs ..I heard the dogs were barking and after that,I heard a high pitched sound,just like a rabbit squealing in danger ..I immediately went outside to see which rabbit was that and sadly I couldn't find Browny's dead body huhuh ..Hate those dogs!!!:@

So,last week I bought 2 baby bunnies from my friend,mixed breed of lionhead and angora I think so ..

This one is the female one,her age is around 1 month ++ ..Time ni bulunya belum beTrim lagi,masih bergumpal ..

This one is the male,a bit larger than the female one ..

Both will be our future doe and buck :)

Salam and Hi ..Yesterday,Sunny once again gave birth to 4 babies ..I did bred her to Whitey on 1.8.2010 but after 2 weeks,I palpated her tummy and couldn't feel anything ..I guessed I was wrong ..Thanks God she prepared her nest before kindling and that's made me realised that she was going to give birth ..

As you can see,only 3 babies survived yesterday ..

Take a look at that bright reddish coloured baby ..

What??Sunny did not chew the umbilical cord yet ..

Take a close up (euww ..:s) ..It died peacefully this morning :(

Salam and Hi ..Yesterday,26.8.2010,Grey delivered 8 babies at around before midnight ..

5 normal size babies and the other 3 are the runts ..

These are the runts ..Two of them were born outside the nesting basket(except for the broken black one) ..Luckily I went outside last night and found out these two small kits scattered on the wire ..Otherwise they have might be dead due to freezing ..BTW,I'm not sure if these kits will make it :S

Salam and Hi ..Sunny gave birth to only 3 kits on 29.7.2010 but all are already dead by now ..

See,no babies at all ..2 of the kits were dead after the birth took place,Sunny didn't even eat the placenta ..So the other one died yesterday due to lack of milk ..Sorry,no pictures for the dead babies :)

This is a receipt showing that I'm going to buy a pair of mixed breed lionhead rabbits ..They are going to arrive in Brunei from Belgium whether on wednesday or thursday if there are no problems encountered the shipping ..

P/S : This was what the seller told me just now,I don't know whether it is true or not,we'll just wait and see laa okay :)

Salam and Hi ..Today,11.7.2010,at 1.15 am to 1.25,Yuri gave birth to 4 big babies ..She was bred to Ryo about 33 days ago :)

2 days before her due date ..

She has been pulling her fur since yesterday morning and continue plucking it just before she delivered her babies ..

So,as you can see,3 plump babies and the most left is a bit thin ..I did record her giving birth just now ..

Hope that the thin one manage to survive because it didn't move so much ..

Yuri,after giving birth ..Forgot to tell you that I put her inside our house in awareness of heavy rain and also so that I could see her kindling the kits :)

Salam and Hi ..On 5.7.2010,Belang kindled 4 healthy babies ..This is her fifth litter ..BTW,I think someone put her in one of our buck's cage 2-3 days after she gave birth to a small baby,which died on the same day she was being bred ..Anyway,it's okay,as long as she knew how to take care of her babies ..

This time,Belang plucked her fur ..Maybe it shows that she is going to be a good mother :) ..

All of them are of different colours ..Hmm,I think I can see a baby 'zoro' :p ..

The babies ..Far from right is Yoona's baby,looks like it is going to be like its dam while far from left is Hitam's,which is smaller in size and darker in colour comparison to Yoona's ..

Meanwhile,Grey's litter are now 6 weeks and 3 days old ..

I haven't decide whether to sell this one or not ..

Salam and Hi ..Our rabbitry is once again brighten up by the arrival of new babies ..Hitam gave birth to 5 babies on 24.6.09 but 1 did not make it on the 3rd day while Yoona gave birth the next day,25.6.09,to 2 kits but only one survive ..

The first day of Hitam's Babies ..She kindled after almost 1 week from the day she plucked her fur ..

They are 3 days old today ..Unfortunately,it was raining heavily just now so I put them inside for a while and this was what I observed,wet nest ..

Close up ..3 black and the other one is unknown yet,it seems that it is going to be a tortoise colour ..

This is the other baby that died yesterday ..I bet you all know what was the cause by looking at the picture ..Maybe this poor baby accidently slipped out of the basket after its feeding time ..
The same goes to Yoona's nest this afternoon ..
This one grow its fur a bit faster than Hitam's babies..
The other one,which was already dead when my brother figured out that this one was born outside the nest and was under the basket ..
Also,Yoona's baby is bigger than Hitam's ..This picture was taking soon after I dried them up ..
Yoona,2 days after giving birth ..She looked small than usual but she is a good mother ..

Salam and Hi ..on the 20th of May 2010,Grey had successfully gave birth to 4 babies but only 3 were survive ..The dead one was big and I don't know what was the cause ..Just want to remind you that their sire is Whitey ..

They're big ..

I just checked them this morning and I found out that the nesting material (fur and hay) were wet ..It seemed that it was because of the rain water ..So,I took the dry one and add some more hay to warm the babies up ..

The pinkies feel more comfortable now ..

Mummy is trying to pick up and gathers the fur ..She even plucked fur from her from paws ..She look so small now heheh ..

About Hitam,Blacky (our neighbour's) and Sunny are not pregnant huhuh while I rebred Yoona this morning with Ryo ..Belang's and Yuri's condition are not confirmed yet ..

Salam and Hi ..It is raining at this moment and I managed to capture only 3 pictures heheh ..

Today is the 28th day for Grey's gestation period ..She did show some signs of being a pregnant doe such as grunting when someone is going to touch her and her tummy is bulging out ..I also can feel some babies are there ..So,she is going to give birth next week ..

Relaxing beside the nesting box ..I just put it in this morning ..

And Yoona is not pregnant at all,her nipples are not swollen and when I palpated her tummy this morning,I couldn't feel the babies ..Well,I might be thinking that she is going to be rebred by the time she is 6 month old:)

Yuri is still at my friend's place ..I will take her back tonight InsyaAllah :)

Salam and Hi all ..Nothing related to the title ..it is just I love that song and also the mv ..wondering why I like that mv?go and watch it laa heheh ..BTW,these are today's pictures ..have a look :)

These two are Hitam and our neighbour's female rabbit who'd given birth once but all the babies were dead ..My neighbour said that her female rabbit gave birth to 5 babies few days after she bought her ..So,she didn't even know that the doe was pregnant and it ended up with dead babies ..Anyway,aren't they look a bit the same?yeaa,they are both black but Hitam is a bit bigger in size and has thicker/longer fur comparatively to our neighbour's ..Hitam was succesfully bred to Whitey and Ryo*oopss,two male rabbits??:D* on 22.4.2010 ..Our neighbour's bunny was mated this afternoon ..Fuhhh,at last she accepted the male rabbit after several attempts since the last 2 weeks ..So,countdown 1 month from now!!I also hope the weather is not going to be hot as in the month of March,Ameeenn :)

Salam and Hi ..Nothing much to say today ..have a look :)

The new hutch is ready to be filled up with the rabbits ..

Ryo is almost fully recovered from skin diseases ..The fur on the nose starts to grow gradually and those 'waxy' thing on his ears were all gone ..

This is our neighbour's female angora rabbit ..She is going to be mated with our male angora ..Just now I tried it but she was not in heat ..I will try to mate her again after 2 days ..

These kittens are ours ..They are just 3 weeks ++ old but they'd just lost their mother ..Poor kittens ..I did buy a KMR for them and use the syringe to feed them but it was hard ..This picture is only to give them a chance to drink milk melalui puting walaupun puting ani bukan puting kucing :D

~Renovating And Building Hutch~

Salam ..I just want to share the latest update of our rabbitry here ..Yes,we had already started the building of a new hutch ..About the old one,we removed the upper part of it as we felt it was uneasy to clean the poops ..So check it outtttttt!!

This is the old one ..only 5 cells are left ..We changed the bamboo floor to the wire one because most of the gap between the bamboos were so big that our rabbits feet often get stucked between it ..

Belang is now staying in the same cell as Hitam although they were trying to fight at first ..they are now okay and can get along together very well ..You can see Sunny there beside the basket ..Her kits sometimes staying with their neighbour,auntie Hitam and auntie Belang ..Both of their aunts were welcoming the babies to visit them and I saw belang quite often licking the babies ..Yoona is staying with Grey BTW ..

This one is the new one ..Not that big ..6 cells only,4 for male and 2 for female ..About 85% left( the doors ) ..

Sunny's babies are now 18 days old ..
2 female and 4 male ..

Sleeping time ..Both of the broken black are female ..

Salam ..just want to update the babies recent photos ..FYI,these are Sunny's and the only litter dari semua ibu arnab yang beranak yang selamat ..

Still remember about last week when I brought Yuri to the clinic for oxytocin shot?Now,all her babies nada lagi,so sayang jua mun beinjek bebayar inda digunakan ..Kami susukan all these babies to Yuri everyday so that durang ani lebih cukup susu ..

Ryo is getting better after few days visiting the clinic ..I also gave him a spray khusus untuk kurap ..Dan effective jua lah :)

This is the spray ..Bought it for RM30++ at Miri heheh ..

~A Visit To Veterinary Care~

Salam ..At last I managed to bring my rabbits to a public vet clinic that is M.A.H Vet Services at Kg Sg Hanching yesterday at around 4 pm ..I brought up Yuri for oxytocin injection and Ryo for an ivermectin injection ..It costs $10 for each oxytocin and also $10 for ivermectin and plus consultation $20 ..Total=$40 ..a bit costy heheh ..

Yuri with her only kit ..Her kit becomes thinner due to lack of milk ..

I remembered that she only plucked a bit of her fur ..Maybe it showed that she doesn't have enough milk to supply her babies ..

Ryo with his skin diseases ..

He has an appointment for the next 2 weeks ..

This is the front of the clinic ..

Yuri on the table ..ready to be checked by the doctor ..

Yuri is being diagnosed by this female Indonesian vet ..

Yuri is resting after visiting the clinic ..The vet said that she only produced little amount of milk ..She advised me to just give the baby's formula milk of any brand and I bought dumex ..I used a syringer to feed the babies ..The oxytocin hanya akan berkesan selepas 6 jam atau 24 jam ..

This is the way he looks now ..Very weak and very thin ..He doesn't even want to drink milk anymore ..Hmm,what a bad day for me ..Buka mata lagi sudah tu and today he is 11 days old ..He doesn't seem to continue his life after this and this is Yuri's last kit for the 3rd litter huhuh ..Hopeless usulnya ea ni dah ..

P/S : All I want to say is we have to be strong facing all these problems ..And I would love to thank all of you guys out there for supporting me okay!!ciayok ciayok!!

Salam ..Sunny gave birth to 7 babies but 1 was stillborn so only 6 are left ..She delivered on the 17th of March,in the evening ..

This is the only Yuri's baby that is still alive ..most probably,he is a boy and he is 10 days old today ..Different from other babies right?yeaa ..because he is a double mane lionhead bunny ..will look forward for its new appearance :)

9.3.10 ..Still 7 of them :( ..
Haven't got chance to see them in reality ..

As I said,one was premature and the other one was born dead ..So,totally 9 babies ..
At night,9.3.10,another one died ..
As in 10.3.10,morning ..Only six were left huhuh ..
In the afternoon,another two died and ..So,only 4 were left ..The next day,one was lost and one was found dead ..
One of the lucky babies that is still alive ..This one is a double mane lionhead rabbit ..
Another one ..But smaller in size ..also a double mane lionhead rabbit ..would probably look like its parents ..
Pity them huhuh ..
Yuri2 ..What is happening to you dear?are there any problems?please tell me ..FYI,just now I tried to feed the babies with her milk ..But,it seems that she doesn't produce much milk huhuh she even bite my finger :( so I phoned the Ani Care Clinic,Gadong and asked if they provide service for oxytocin ..Unfortunately,they said that they only provide oxytocin for cats and cows huhuh ..
Hitam's babies ..All of them were already dead when this picture was captured huhuhuhuhuh*TOO many sighing*..

Salam,another 2 of Yuri's kits died today ..cause??unknown ..huhuh pasrah eh!!How about Hitam's kits?NO more left!!That day,my amah accidentally poured water onto Hitam's babies as he was cleaning the cage ..Then,in order to make the babies kering and supaya inda kesajukan,he instead dried up the babies under the extreme sunlight!!kepanasan jua tu huhuh why not he just use clothes to dry up the babies?huhuh ..tomorrow I will upload pictures baby2 atu,atupun if nada yang mati lagi huhuh ..

This is Ryo ..He is having some burrowing mites on his nose,ear and on his feet huhuh thats why I have to separate him from others ..

This is Yoona ..Her fur get matted very easily nowadays ..So,she has to be groomed almost everyday ..Now,some part of her body are bald and in process of regrowing ..

Forgot to tell you all,yesterday Fin also gave some alfalfa hay,thanks!From what I know,alfalfa hay is good for growing baby rabbits,pregnant doe and lactating doe ..Now,I'm waiting for 3 of our rabbits to give birth in this month ..

Salam,these are some of our rabbits' pictures after grooming them ..don't think it is easy to keep an angora rabbit if you don't have plenty of free time,at least once a week ..otherwise.their fur will be matted and got block ..

FYI,Yuri is already having some mites on her nose huhuh so this afternoon I cleaned their hutch with clorox and some detergent ..KURAP!!so I separated Yoona and Yackie for goodness,lagipun they are ready to be weaned :) another 2 bunnies are also having these problem ..So,have to bring them to the vets immediately ..

Yesterday I bought one big sack of rabbits pellet,5o kg just for BND$48 ..murah kan??hahah :D you can also see the percentage of those crude protein segala k ..so macamana otai2?okay kah?this pellet yang selamatkan my bunnies from having diarrhea continuously sebelum ni ..

~Confusing~

Salam ..on the 10TH of February,our rabbitry had received another babies that is the first litter for this year ..But it still confusing me ..which doe gives birth to these kits?hmm ..the story was like this ..on Tuesday,just a day before these kits are born,a female rabbit named Grey had plucked her fur ..so,my brother separated her from Putih,another female rabbit which lives with Grey ..The next day,two babies were found dead;one was found in the drain while the other was on the grass ..Those poor little babies fell down through the hole between the bamboo*I don't expect they can really fit into it!* ..Then,he saw another two in Putih's cage ..huh??was it Putih or Grey gave birth to the pinkies?So I find out that the other two in Putih's cage are her own babies while those two babies which were already dead are Grey's babies,get it?It is impossible for Grey's babies to get into Putih's cage as there is no holes ..Furthermore,the distances between the cells are much far ..So,conclusion is,Grey and Putih had their babies on the same day,each for two babies ..Grey did pluck her fur while Putih did not pluck any ..So,Putih's babies are now staying with Grey because at first my brother thought that those four babies are all Grey's ..BTW,I didn't expect these two does to give birth as they were still young when I mix them with a male rabbit named Ryo ..

Salam and hye ..Today is the last day for this male lionhead to stay in our rabbitry ..yeahh I know it was kinda sekajap but the owner wants him back ..maybe that kind owner misses him a lot ..its okay lah,the owner has the rights to do so pun ..anyway thank you so much for lending me that cute bunny ..hope that the 'project' that they have done would success,AMEEENNN!!!So,these are some photos to be shared with you guys ..check check check it outt!!!

Mating Processes

I was trying to mate Yuri last week but she was not ready yet ..she ran a lot and try to avoid from being mounted by that guy :D ..She used to do that several times,also happened to the previous mating ..For me,she is the most difficult doe to mate :D ..Fortunately,on the 4Th of February,they did it!Okay,it was not me seeing the process,it was my brother ..He let them to mate at around 6.40 am,just before he attended his classes ..But he only saw them mating once!Then he caged Yuri with that boy until around 5 pm ..These pictures were taken last week,where the process was failed ..

Yuri buang kes ..exsen tia kan makan hay,padahal inda nyaman rasa kan membuat 'atu' :D ..

Hi ..today 2 of the bunnies are taken ..the pregnant one and the male grey lionhead ..and I would like to say thank you to Fin for giving me a bag of timothy hay for FREE!!heheh ..hope that you don't mind if I mentioned your name here :)
This is the only Hitam's baby that is left by now ..think it's a male ..

The most beautiful of Yuri's babies ..I haven't think a name for her yet ..and yess,she does look like a lion :D she is now still eating the timothy hay as soon as I gave them to her ..

Please mind the image of those foot hahah!this is the timothy hay ..they smell very nice :) even I would like to taste it :D Thanks again to you!!;)

Ok straight to the point lah aa,today I just got home ..Belang kits are now gone!all of them huhuh ..Hitam's babies are no longer 2,its already one ..Katie's baby,the longest fur was dead,my brother said that it lost her mouth ..I seems don't understand what he was talking about ..huhuhuh tomorrow I will try to slaughter at least one of the rabbits ..well,I'm done!!sorry no pictures for today,don't have any mood to capture their pictures huhuh

....In Just ONE Week!huhuh ..Can you guess how many rabbits had died in this week?3?5?Absolutely WRONG!13 death you know!huhuh ..I was not staying at home because I'm still studying and living in a hostel ..so,the person who was incharged in taking care of the rabbits are my brother ..since all of us are still schooling,we asked our driver to take care the bunnies ..well,12 of them were baby rabbits,didn't get enough milk and 2 are being bitten by cat!yeahh,of course its because of carelessness,I don't know whether my brother forgot to close the door or else ..?huhuh and 1 doe,Creamy was found dead and I'm not sure what was the causes ..so,her remaining kits are staying with their foster mum,Katie ..The death are:3 from Creamy's babies,4 from Belang's,5 from Hitam's and Creamy itself ..So,tutup cerita!!BTW,today,our rabbitry telah menerima 3 visitors+customers ..They are Ahmad of the Osa Pets Centre,Fin and Zaren@boy ..Thanks for coming especially to Ahmad though it was raining :) ..7 rabbits are sold today:
Sony,Yoona,Yooni,1 of Yuri's kits(grey one),2 of Katie's and 1 of Sunny's ..Hope they will be a good rabbit to their new owner:)

~1st Anniversary And New Kits~

Happy New Year to you all!!heheh I hope it is not too late for me to say it :)well,actually I was about to update my blog yesterday ..due to connection failure,I cancelled it laa ..yesterday was also the anniversary of being a rabbits' keeper heheh ..and 7 more new babies were born on 31.12.day at night ..my cat also gave birth to 3 kitten that night heheh ..

If you are a reader of my blog since this blog was created,you might recognised this buck ..yes!!he is Brownie!!he is still healthy and active like before ..FYI,Brownie is the only rabbit that is still with us here in the rabbitry since 1.1.09 ..the others are already sold ..He is now about 1 year 7 month I think ..
Heheh ..these two are Creamy's kits ..they fell asleep in the food container ..
Fuhh,this one dasyat ..I bet you know what they are doing hahaha ..n these 3 are bucks,they live together since they were young ..ni kira lepas geram lah,yelah kan,tak ada betina,lepas geram kat jantan jer lah :D

Salam ..well,today is the final day of this year ..mesti banyak kenangan manis and pahit kan?mudah2an dengan tahun baru 2010 ni kita dapat menanamkan azam baru dalam diri kita ameeen ...so,this is just some updates of the bunnies ..yesterday,30.12.09,we received 7 more babies from Belang ..I watched the moment she gave birth laa heheh ..4 chesnuts and the others are unknown ..

~Yayy!The Bunnies Are Normal Now!Elhamdulillah =)~

Elhamdulillah,since I changed their pellet,their poops which were not normal(unsolid) before,are now becoming the 'real' fecal ..The causes are the previous pellet used to contain a high percentage of protein-around 20%-21%-if I'm not mistaken while the amount of fibre are too low-around 13%-14%- ..The sack of the pellet was labelled as 'rabbit 's grower' or in Malay,we use the term of 'penggemuk' ..I was thinking that this pellet may be good for baby rabbits and lactating mother,but it is just I couldn't find any of the petshops here are selling timothy hay or alfalfa hay ..So,I just have to buy the normal hay* I don't know what is its name* ..And also before,I used to buy a $1.oo per kg pellet and now it is becoming $1.20 per kg ..Wel,I don't mind ..As long as our rabbits are okay and healthy :) ..This new pellet contains a lower protein and higher in fibre ..

Yoona and Yooni as the models ..You can see that the bamboo are now no longer dirty as before ..
Yuri's cage is now clean and odorless heheh ..

p/s:I've deleted the post about the poops because I myself don't like actually the idea of sharing those disgusting pictures hahahah :D

More Update About The Babies

Creamy's babies are now 3 days old ..maybe there are 3 white and 3 light brown ..

Yuri's ..I checked their gender just now and they are 2 female and 3 male ..BTW,I don't from which side this little guy get his colour ..maybe from his father,I think laa ..

Almost having the same looks of her big brother,Sunny ..

The first white colour bunny growing up here ..She is Katie's ..

Maybe she will be looking like her father soon :)

Fuhh ..after waiting for nearly 2 months,at last this untamed doe gave birth to 7 babies ..but the first one was dead and I don't know why ..the first baby came out yesterday morning,followed by the third and the forth just before the dusk while the rest were in the evening ..this first time mother did her nest in the basket but gave birth outside the basket ..I had to wait until Creamy has done giving birth because I'm the one who is going to pick up the babies and put them in their nest ..have a look =)

Katie's ..still maintaining the number of babies ..I can see that there are 3 male and 4 female and they are 16 days old today ..

Finally,Yuri's ..gender are undefined yet ..maybe there will be more male ..just 10 days old ..

Yeap,that's true ..Yuri had already giving birth to 5 babies ..It's 7 actually huhuh ..Thanks God I prepared the basket yesterday afternoon ..Also I didn't expect her to give birth whether today or last night ..Last night,the weather was raining ..It is not just 'hujan barai-barai',but it was a heavy rain ..I was concerned last night ..Hmm,back to the story ..Yes,the babies were actually 7 ..When I woke up this morning,I immediately went to Sunny's cage to check if the babies were okay or not ..Elhamdulillah,still 6 of them ..It's just the babies were a bit wet,maybe 'tempias' hujan semalam ..Then,I peeked at Yuri's cage and I observed some fur of her were inside the basket ..Wahh,I was curious whether she already had the babies or not ..As soon as I approached the basket,I saw 5 cute and big babies ..Fuhh,I felt relief when I saw that the babies were in a good condition ..Afterwards,I was about to grab the fur and put them on the babies ..But it seems that something wrong with the fur ..They were wet and cold ..Only at the corner of the basket and guess what,I found 2 small babies,which were already dead ..They were tiny ..One of the two babies had lost its body .. I think these are premature babies ..You can see the pictures here ..I think there are 3 white babies,1 black and 1 broken black ..The white babies are already having their fur a bit ..how come ah?hmm ..

Salam,here I got a bad news ..One of Belang's babies had died this morning and I believe the cause is D-I-A-R-R-H-E-A!!The most common sickness for a baby rabbit under 8 weeks huhuh ..It's not just a common diarrhea ..Her poops sticked onto her bottom and the poops was like jelly;colourless and sticky ..huhuh ..I realised this since yesterday afternoon when I saw that she is not active and when I picked her up,I spotted that the faeces are not normal ..I was worried that I didn't know what to do ..From what I've read on a book,the chance for the baby rabbit which suffered this sickness to live is SOOO 'tipis' ..I haven't got chance to bring her to the vet because the clinic is far away from my place ..Furthermore,it was a busy day for me ..Hmmm,memang takdir dah so I inda dapat menyalahi takdir ..BTW,I haven't wean Baby ..She was still living in a cage with her mum ..All her siblings were already sold out ..Anyway,Baby has a special appearance that other rabbits in our rabbit don't have ..You can look at her picture here ..She has a weird face shape ..I don't know how to describe heheh ..Goodbye Baby!!

~Sunny's 2nd Litter~

Yayy!!Sunny just gave birth to 6 cute little pinkies at 3.3o pm ..Unfortunately,I didn't prepare the basket earlier ..This is the consequences ..Sunny plucked her fur on the wire ..
See ..After I collected the fur and put them in the basket,she put them outside lagi huhuh ..

A few minutes before she delivered the babies ..Whitey,her mate,seems know that he is going to be a dad!hahah ..
I had the opportunity to watch her giving birth to the babies ..
Their dad was happy ..He is now a father to these babies ..
Yeaaa ..I predicted that there are 2 black,3 broken black*think so*, and 1 yellow or brown*not confirmed* ..6 of them in the basket ..
